Nokia invites developers to apply to the Open Screen Project Fund to get money to create mobile apps and distribute them in more than 190 countries worldwide via Nokia's Ovi Store. In this video you will see the "blueprint" for how it works, and examples to inspire you to apply for funding to create mobile apps for Nokia devices.

The Open Screen Project Fund is still accepting submissions. The Fund is seeking developers who have an idea for a mobile application in any of the following areas: entertainment, business, social networking, productivity, gaming, travel, multimedia, health, finance, weather, sports, news, education, and more.

For more information and to submit your idea for an app, please visit: http://www.openscreenproject.org/developers/get_started.html

The ciculation of ...
The ciculation of Nokia is leser and lesser as application is not hit and less. If Nokia? can increase the quantity of application, Maybe circulation is better than this.

Nokia mobile phone ...
Nokia mobile phone is valuable but? application is lesser than iphone.

I? like Nokia.
I? like Nokia.

Learning to build ...
Learning to build mobile applications? is not an easy endeavor. It can be done, but you must have the drive and the aptitude (plus the time) to overcome the challenges. If you are looking to create a mobile app for your business (or idea), you would probably be smart to simply? hire a qualified professional. I know many talented (and affordable) mobile developers (freelancers and agencies). I'd be happy to provide an introduction. Brett dev (at) cspreston (dot) com

Hi? People. I know ...
Hi? People. I know this comment is not related to the video, but our company is going under (incl all my saving) and this is my desperate last resort to promote our iphone app. it's called "FS Viewer" and "Analyst Rating Tracker". u'd be saving two lives if u downloaded either one of these apps..thanks a lot.

that "opensource" ...
that "opensource" is not so "opensource",because of its license, opensource of symbian^3 only works on paper, and symbian? needs less powercomputing because its weack and old,my old nokia 6600 doesnt need to much computing power too.And when symbian^4 comes around it still needs to catch up with android 2.1 or other phone OS.Symbian doesnt even comes close to UNIX.

- and you can also ...
- and you can also potenstially run the? Qt app on a computer as well.. ,... the new Nokia Qt SDK is really great.

- because Nokia ...
- because Nokia sells over 400 million phones a year ... that a lot of phones. ....and what so? bad with symbian? Its stable, low powerconuming and reliable. ... Android is great, and pushes development...but that does not automaticly make Symbian bad... Symbian^3 as full opensource, combined soon with Symbian^4 with more customisable and more modern desifgn will kick ass.

Nokia can you ...
Nokia can you afford 60% of your money for the developer like apple do?! Even samsung start giving lot of money to? developer to make a new apps

but meego is way? ...
but meego is way? better.

f**k nokia,only now ...
f**k nokia, only now they come up with an app store? how about? to use android instead of s**tty symbian?

Forgot? to add ...
Forgot? to add Maemo to that list.

What do you mean? ...
What do you mean? If you write the app in QT it will work in ^3, ^4 and Meego (Also possibly on s60 5th with custom firmware). Nokia is making it very easy? to compile to different devices.

I have an? idea: Playstation Emulator!

Will nokia? have ...
Will nokia? have enough money for ALL the developers..? I doubt.

I'm not here to ...
I'm not here to defend Symbian, but judging hosting OS quality by its Java VM implementation is somewhat inappropriate, I guess. From my point of view one of the major problems is problematic or nonexistent backward-forward compatibility in different editions or versions of Symbian. When you make app that? runs on Symbian^3 it does not run on ^2 or ^4. Also, Nokia is somewhat stuck between MeeGo and Symbian.

Nokia may think why ...
Nokia may think why developers don't develope application for? their phones. I know how buggy is their java VM which is really simple, I can't imagine how buggy is Symbian OS.

great..?
great..?
